Kate Hoos
Editor-in-Chief (she/her)
Kate Hoos is a New York based photographer, writer, and musician. Her work has been featured in Brooklyn Vegan, Tom Tom Magazine, Razorcake, Maximum Rock N Roll, and more. A stalwart of the DIY punk scene for many years, she served as an organizer for Punk Island from 2016-2022 and is the veteran of several bands, most recently playing drums with Witch Slap from 2019-2021.
When not out and about with a camera in hand or playing a show, she can be found slinging merch, lurking on abandoned train tracks or hanging with her cats, usually with her nose buried in a book.
